Island School's Admission Process

Aloha and mahalo for considering admission to Island School. Our curriculum cultivates high expectations through Academic Rigor, Project Based Learning, Arts, and Athletics. The talents of our faculty foster student growth, passions, and values to become leading students in many different subjects. This is why we have certain criteria that are being sought in our applicants.

How to Apply

Island School is an environmentally friendly school. All applications are available online.

Please click on the "Apply Now" link to apply.
  • Online Application Process:
    • Select: Apply Now
    • Create a username and password, this will allow families to save and return to the application to complete. Families will also be able to see the progress of their admissions status.
    • Complete the application:
      1.    Complete all required fields (denoted by the asterisk *)
      2.    Make payment of $65.00 application fee 
      3.    Sign application and submit
  • After submitting the application, families will also have the ability to print the completed application(s), observe the process of the application, and know when admissions staff has received supplemental documents.

When to Apply

  • New Applicants:
Island School encourages families to begin the application process early. For priority consideration, applications should be submitted by January 15th. Financial Aid applications are due by February 15th. Applications received after January 15th will be considered on a space-available basis/rolling admissions. Decisions will be made in early spring.

Space availability is much greater in middle and high school grade levels. Where space may and is often limited is in grades K-5.
 
  • Re-Enrollment Students:
Re-enrollment will begin at the end of January.
