Island School's First Annual May Day Lei Contest
The Island School ‘Ohana Association invites all students in grades K through 12, faculty, and staff, to participate in Island School's first annual lei making contest. Lei submissions should be submitted to the Front Office between 7:45 am and 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 1st. Judging will take place at 10:00 am, parents, students, faculty, and staff are invited to view lei entries from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on the mauka main hall lānai.
LEI ENTRY GUIDELINES:
- One Lei can be submitted per person
- Lei categories include: Purple/Blue, Pink/Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Edible, Mixed Media, Mixed Color
- Hat lei must be between 22 and 24 inches long and hat must be provided by the entrant
- Materials not allowed: Endangered Plants, ‘Ohia Lehua & Mokihana
- A completed application must be submitted with each entry
