'Ulu Hunt!
Our Keiki embarked on a midweek adventure behind campus in search of ‘Ulu (breadfruit) trees. Some excitedly pointed out the 3 trees we saw on our walk. We discussed how it looked, felt, and differed. The large green leaves of a 'Ulu tree make it easy to identify.
We took a moment to Kilo and noticed the ‘ulu fruit, the coconut trees, the leaves moving from the makani (wind). Then we sketched the ‘ulu trees and fruit.
