Island School Represented at Hawaii Junior Science and Humanities Symposium
Sierra '28 was chosen to present at the Hawaii Junior Science and Humanities Symposium this past weekend. She represented Kauaʻi alongside 60 other students from Hawaii, American Samoa, Saipan, and Guam. The event took place on the Big Island at UH Hilo and Kilauea Military Camp. Sierra's project was: Understandingthe Impacts of Nitrate and Phosphate Water Pollution on Anini Lagoon. During the symposium, students had the opportunity to listen to presentations on various projects, hear from guest speakers, and engage in enriching activities that will stay with them for a lifetime.
