This was a big week for our Fourth Grade! On Monday, the class took a field trip today to learn about Waipā. Fourth Grade learned the about the historical and cultural significance of Waipā, some ahupua’a facts, and took a long tour of part of the land. While they were there, students helped get rid of invasive plants and also planted some native and canoe plants along the stream.
Later in the week, Fourth Grade took a trip to Po’ipu with their 2nd grade science and reading buddies! Students learned a lot of important information about our honu and their nests, and ended the trip with a splash in the water!
