You will find here a list of topics our seniors have chosen to pursue for their Senior Capstone Project. The main portion of this researched-based, personal-choice learning experience will take place during Semester 2. We wanted to share with you the range of topics in case you or someone you know has experience / expertise in any of these topics and would be willing to be a resource to a senior. This could look like a one-time phone call/interview, hosting an internship or service experience, serving as a mentor for check-ins on the project every couple of weeks – whatever works for you. Our goal is to provide our seniors with adults working directly now or in the past in the field of their topic and to tap into the WEALTH of expertise in our community.
Thank you for emailing us, Senior Capstone teachers / coaches, by January 10 to let us know you’re willing to help. This is a GREAT way to volunteer your time and support Island School! Thank you for considering it.
