Gallery Walk in Middle School Spanish

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Maestra Lewis's Spanish 1A class completed a "gallery walk" featuring 25 influential Hispanic individuals and learned about their accomplishments and contributions. They have also focused on Hispanics who have made significant impacts in areas of government, politics, and civil rights, including Sonia Sotomayor, who broke boundaries in 2009 by becoming the first Hispanic person (and only the third woman) to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States.
