Lokahi 2025 Concert
Today, Island School middle and high school students gathered for a concert by The Vitals 808 in our gym! This concert was part of Lokahi, a youth concert series presented by the Innovative Giving Enhancement, Kauaʻi Planning and Action Alliance, and Anaina Hou Community Park. This youth concert series was created to address teen mental health and bullying.
Lokahi pairs premier speakers with noteworthy Hawaiian musicians to present a free concert experience focussed on mental health. The mission of Innovative Giving Enhancement is to unite international musician, nonprofit and arts patron communities through musical retreats, cross-cultural collaboration and global benefit performances. The mission of Kauai Planning & Action Alliance is to bring together diverse organizations for collaborative planning and action to achieve targeted goals by fostering creative solutions and aligning efforts among those who shape the destiny of our island.
