Are you ready for our journey together?
Aloha Island School ‘Ohana,
It's time for our annual Gala – Voyage Under the Stars! And I am so grateful for the many, many hands that are helping make the evening such a special one.
So many volunteers are providing everything from their time cutting down and hauling in beautiful greenery to their skillful eye over hours to create the magical decor, from treasures to bid on during the silent auction to strong arms to lift and move many, many items from Island School to the Sonesta. What a meaningful group effort in honor of this community about which we all care so deeply!
If you will not be with us, please consider registering and participating in our silent auction. You can plan ahead for birthdays or graduations while also helping Island School. Your participation in this online component of the event, in whatever capacity you can offer, is critical to our success.
If you will be joining us at the Sonesta Saturday night, I hope you have your dancing shoes ready as well as your paddle-arm warmed up, ready to raise your paddle high. We hope everyone will come ready to BID BOLDLY for FINANCIAL AID!
Mahalo nui loa for joining in on the shared effort that makes the Gala for financial aid possible so that we can continue to be a school that truly represents the beautiful diversity of Kauaʻi that provides dynamic programming for youth from across our island.
