Island School Board of Directors

I’m writing to share news about changes in the board leadership which occurred earlier this year during the annual meeting of the board of directors. As part of the regular board process, the new slate of officers was selected to lead the School during the next two years with Sam Pratt elected president of the board of directors.  Sam has been a member of the board since 2008, and served as Treasurer for the past 10 years.  He is the father of two Voyager alumni (James, '20 and Bradley, '22).  A complete list of the board members and the new officers and committee chairs positions can be found on our website here.  

 

I’d like to particularly recognize and express deep gratitude to Kathy Richardson for her many years of service as the president of the Board of Directors during an important time for Island School. She led the board through the pandemic years, served as president during four head of school searches and the capital campaign which produced the David W. Pratt Building. Kathy continues to serve on the board as Past President. Her tireless work and commitment to the mission of the school is inspirational.
